Our guest is a musician from New Brunswick, who grew up around the traditional ways of his people on the Tobique First Nation. Music has always been a part of Mike Bern’s life, picking up his first guitar at the age of 15. As an adult, he toured Canada with the band Kickin’ Crotch, and later on, had a song featured in the Pyeonchang Winter Olympics. Now, Mike is a solo act, and is finding it easier to get everyone together for band practice. In our interview, Mike talks about what he’s been doing since COVID hit, and what his plans are once this pandemic is over.
