Our guest on the show is a pop music artist on the rise. Alexis Lynn is a 21 year old, raised in Surrey BC, with familial connections to the Caldwell First Nation in Ontario.
She released her first EP in November of 2019, and has been dropping singles ever since, with songs like “I Can’t Relate” putting her strong female voice on full display.
In this our interview, Alexis talks about writing the lyrics on her first project, and how despite growing up not knowing much about her Indigenous culture, she’s been rekindling a connection in recent years.
