The Bulkley Valley Concert Association is pleased to present an extraordinary evening of Indigenous music, storytelling, and cultural expression featuring Kym Gouchie and Gamksimoon (formerly Saltwater Hank).
Kym Gouchie is a JUNO-nominated, award-winning singer-songwriter from the Lheidli T’enneh First Nation. Known for her powerful voice and dynamic storytelling, she blends folk, roots, and contemporary Indigenous influences into music rooted in strength, healing, and connection. Performing with her all-star band, Gouchie delivers deeply emotional songs that honour ancestral ties and bring audiences together through rhythm, story, and song.
Sharing the stage is Gamksimoon, widely recognized for his electrifying rock ’n’ roll presence. In this rare and intimate solo performance, he presents stripped-down versions of his songs paired with personal storytelling. Sung entirely in the Tsimshian language, his set weaves culture, narrative, and music into a moving and resonant experience.
Together, these two remarkable artists offer an unforgettable evening that bridges tradition, personal narrative, and contemporary expression—an event that promises to inspire, connect, and engage audiences.
