The BC Junior All Native Basketball Tournament is set to return in 2026, with Langley selected as the host city. The event will take place from March 15 to 20, welcoming Indigenous youth teams from across the province.
The tournament is being presented by VanCity Nation Basketball, the Vancouver Bandits, the Bandits Community Foundation, and the Kwantlen First Nation. Together, they will welcome players, coaches, and families to what they call more than just a sports event—it’s a cultural celebration and a space to uplift youth through community connection.
The opening ceremonies will be held at the Langley Events Centre on March 15, starting at 2:00 p.m., following a 1:45 p.m. player parade. The championship games will take place on March 20, also at the Events Centre.
Games will be played across multiple venues in the Langley area, including RE Mountain Secondary, Peter Ewart Middle School, Yorkson Creek, and Walnut Grove Secondary School.
Team registration is now open, and hotel information is available on the official tournament website at www.jant.ca.
Organizers encourage everyone—players, fans, and volunteers alike—to take part in what promises to be an exciting and meaningful event.
