Terrace RCMP are reaching out for public assistance following a fatal hit-and-run that occurred On September 8, at around 2:30 to 3:00 a.m., a man was found on Old Lakelse Lake Drive near Clark Street with injuries consistent with being struck by a vehicle. Emergency Health Services arrived on the scene but unfortunately, the man was pronounced dead.
RCMP are looking into the possibility that a green dirt bike, which was reportedly in the area at the time, may have witnessed the incident. They’re asking anyone who saw a man walking in the vicinity of Old Lakelse Lake Drive and Clark Street during that timeframe, or a vehicle traveling southbound on Old Lakelse Lake Drive, to come forward.
