Terrace, August 14, 2024* — Dale Boyd, the individual known as the “Glue Bandit,” has been formally charged following a series of vandalism incidents that plagued the downtown area of Terrace between October 2023 and February 2024. Boyd faces 22 counts of mischief for willfully damaging property, with the damages exceeding $5000.
The Terrace RCMP launched an extensive investigation after numerous reports of glue being applied to door locks and subsequent vandalism, including smashed windows at various local businesses. The investigation led to Boyd’s arrest in March 2024. Following a review, BC Prosecution Services approved the charges, and a summons has been issued for Boyd to appear in court.
The RCMP extends their thanks to the Terrace community for their support and cooperation in bringing this case to resolution.
