Quesnel RCMP has said a 17 year old boy is presumed drowned following a boating incident on Stony Lake on June 6th Saturday night.
On Saturday June 6th Quesnel RCMP received a report of a capsized vessel on Stony Lake, leaving four occupants in the water.
Three individuals were able to safely make their way to shore, however the operator of the boat did not surface and could not be located.
RCMP have said that extensive search efforts have been undertaken but have not yet resulted in locating the missing youth.
RCMP said he has since been identified as a 17-year-old boy from Prince George, and his family has been notified.
