The Kermode Friendship Society is proud to announce its National Indigenous Peoples Day 2026 Celebration, a day dedicated to honoring and celebrating Indigenous culture and heritage.
Join us on Saturday, June 20th, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM at George Little Park in Terrace, BC.The heart of the celebration will showcase Indigenous talent and tradition, featuring Indigenous artisans, musicians, drummers, and dancers. There will be interactive cultural activities for all ages.
In addition to the main cultural showcases, the event will offer a full day of community enjoyment, including contests and prizes, a farmers market, family fun, and other delicious food, such as fried bread. Look for food and art vendors, children’s activities, and engaging information booths hosted by our community partners. ALSO, find CFNR Live on Location bringing you on-the-ground updates throughout the day!
The Terrace Kermode Friendship Society is currently accepting registration for vendors, artisans, food sellers, and community partners to take part in this vibrant community celebration. If you’d like to be involved, vendor applications are available and can be picked up at 4714 Park ave, or via email.
Volunteer sign-ups and entertainment announcements will be shared in the coming weeks, so stay tuned as we build toward an amazing day, with more details to come!
Kermode and CFNR would like to thank the community, sponsors, and funders whose support helps welcome hundreds of attendees and create a meaningful, positive experience for all.
