The Vanderhoof RCMP remain actively involved in the investigation into the disappearance of Ronald McCook, who was reported missing from a residence on Kenny Dam Road in the Saik’Uz First Nations area on January 23rd, 2025. Ronald, a 40-year-old Indigenous man, was last seen walking south toward the Sauk’uz General Store near Vanderhoof, British Columbia.
Ronald is described as being 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighing approximately 200 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. On the day of his disappearance, Ronald was wearing an orange t-shirt and a grey baseball hat.
The RCMP are appealing to the public for any information that might help locate Ronald. His disappearance has raised concern within the community, and local authorities are working diligently to ensure his safe return.
