Today, on Good Medicine with Melanie Smoke…
We learn about the Solidarity Vision Walk, which takes place each year in August. Journeying along the Invisible Salmon Migration Route from Unistoten to the Eel Grass Estuaries near Prince Rupert BC, the solidarity Vision Walk raises awareness, and funds, for Pancreatic Cancer. It gets people active, promotes Holistic Healing, and encourages Indigenous Cultural Teachings.
Melanie shares HER story with pancreatic cancer (how this vision walk originated) and how she finds hope on those difficult days, her own personal… good medicine.
Melanie says “If we can save at least one person’s life who catches it early, that is a blessing. If you feel you have symptoms that aren’t being taken seriously, YOU are your own BEST advocate, because early detection is key.”

Remember Melanie’s words: “Walk softly with good intentions. Carry yourself in love and light; pure energy and truth, planted in your cultural roots.”
