Doubleview Gold Reports Big Findings at Hat Project Site Opposed by Tahltan Central Government

Doubleview Gold is continuing to report new findings as it looks to extend its Hat Project site, despite opposition from the Tahltan Nation.

This morning, the company reported the discovery of massive sulphide mineralization at the site, located roughly 95 kilometres southwest of Dease Lake.

Early inspections show the samples to contain very strong sections of chalcopyrite and pyrite, which may contain large portions of copper.

Over the past two weeks alone, Doubleview has drilled 1,500 metres of test holes as they work towards the southern expansion of the mine’s Lisle Zone.

That work comes despite multiple calls from the Tahltan Central Government to cease work at the site, which lies on land they consider sacred.

In July, the TCG issued a statement calling on Doubleview to enter meaningful discussions in the hopes of avoiding legal action.
