A series of upcoming meetings will give Tahltan members a chance to voice any concerns related to highway conditions on their territory.
Representatives from the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure will host the meetings in partnership with the Tahltan Central Government.
They’ll be looking to gather feedback related to safety, winter maintenance, and road conditions on Highways 37, 37A, and 51.
That feedback will then be used to inform their on-going Highway 37 Corridor Planning Study.
Engagements will be held between 5:30 and 8:00 in the evening at the Klappen School in Iskut on Friday, and at the Telegraph Creek Rec Centre next Tuesday.
A third engagement is also planned for the Dease Lake Community Hall between 11:30 and 2:00 in the afternoon on Sunday.
