BC Transit Announces Temporary Service Reduction in the Bulkley Valley for the Start of October

Residents of Smithers, Telkwa and Witset are being advised of an upcoming temporary service reduction from BC Transit.

Due to a shortage of labour, route 22 will be reduced to five trips in each direction between Smithers and Telkwa each weekday.

Those looking to get from Telkwa to Smithers will now see the first trip leave at 7:30 in the morning, and the last at 4:00 in the afternoon.

Trips going from Smithers to Telkwa will begin at 9:35 in the morning, with the final departure set for 6:45 in the evening.

Route 23 will also run later in the mornings, with trips leaving Smithers at 8:00, and leaving Witset at 8:40.

All of the changes will take effect on October 2nd, and will remain in place until the 13th.
