It was a busy afternoon for Kitimat RCMP last Saturday as they responded to three separate motor vehicle collisions.
Two were fairly minor single-vehicle incidents which saw cars slide off the road on Lahakas Boulevard and Highway 37, resulting in no injuries.
But a third saw a vehicle leave the road on Highway 37, before crashing into a pole and another vehicle, causing significant damage to both.
A pair of occupants were sent to hospital with minor injuries as a result.
Police say that rapidly changing weather conditions over the past few days likely contributed to all three crashes.
They are reminding drivers to slow down, drive according to conditions, and check that their winter tires are in good condition.
