Four Projects Receive a Combined $885,000 in New Grant Funding from Northern Development

Four projects are splitting $885,000 in fresh grant funding from the Northern Development Initiative Trust.

$300,000 of that will go towards the construction of a new, zero-carbon, accessible gymnasium for the Ashcroft Indian Band.

Just over $250,000 will help fund the replacement of the Village of Granisle’s aging freshwater marina.

Rehabilitation work will return the District of Hudson Hope’s pool to a watertight facility, thanks to just over $187,000 in funding.

And roughly $147,000 will go towards curling rink upgrades at the Hirsch Creek Golf and Winter Club.
