For the first time since 2019, Terrace residents can look forward to a full slate of events when Riverboat Days festivities get underway later this week.
Covid forced the cancellation of the annual celebration in 2020, and prompted a smaller slate of events for last year’s edition.
But, this year the event will be back in full force, complete with drag racing, sports, art, food, music, and more.
Celebrations get going Friday night with opening ceremonies at 7:00, with events running through the evening on August 1st.
This year’s annual Riverboat Days Parade will kick off at 11:00 Saturday morning, running up Lakelse Avenue, with music as the key theme.
Speaking of music, Concerts in the Park will get going at 1:00 Saturday afternoon in George Little Park.
Other events attendees can catch throughout the week include: drag racing, basketball and slo-pitch tournaments, a farmers market, pancake breakfasts and more.
