Boaters in the Kitimat River may experience delays over the next couple of months, as work on the Haisla Bridge wraps up.
Crews will be on site installing the bridge’s base structure daily from 7:00 to 7:00, between now and August 31st.
A Ledcor-Haisla vessel may be available to assist marine-goers with passage around the work.
Earlier this month, the District held a ceremony to celebrate the launching of the first of four steel girders
At that point the project was 49 percent complete, with substantial completion planned for winter of 2023.
