The Prince George RCMP’s street crew unit managed to seize multiple large quantities of drugs and drug trafficking paraphernalia at the end of May.
They were able to do this after executing multiple search warrants under the Controlled Drug and Substance Act.
While the street crew unit was conducting their investigation, they determined two residences were potentially associated with drug trafficking.
The first residence, which was located at the 2400-block of 15 Avenue, was found to have suspected cocaine and a firearm.
The second residence, located at the 4000-block of Richet Street, saw the seizure of more suspected cocaine as well as potential fentanyl and a large amount of cash.
In total, what was found at the two residences amounted to 100 grams of fentanyl, body armor, over 500 grams of cocaine, approximately $20,000 in cash and multiple firearms.
Only one man was arrested in connection to this case, however he was released while the investigation’s final results are still up in the air.
