Earlier today, a sentencing date for the former clerk of BC legislature, Craig James, was finally set.
James was dismissed from his postion as clerk back in 2018 and he was recently found guilty of breach of trust and fraud related to using legislative funds for inapropriate personal expenses namely, spending $1,800 on clothes that were from Vancouver and London.
However, James was not convicted of threl other charges related to a quarter-million-dollar retirement benefit and the purchase of a wood splitter that was supposedly for emergency use but was kept at the home of James.
July 4th is the day that James will offically recieve his judgement according to the BC Supreme Court in Vancouver.
