A new wildfire has sprouted up in the Cariboo, covering roughly 92 hectares near the Xeni Gwet’in First Nation’s Lohbiee Reserve.
Located just northwest of the Nation’s reserve between Nemaia Lake and Konni Lake, the fire started on Monday, and is currently listed as out of control.
According to the Wildfire Service, the blaze was human caused.
