It was announced earlier today that Telus will putting a large of money into their effort to make high speed internet avaliable throughout this Province.
Telus is goling to be investing $17.5 billion into BC as a part of their plan to expand their wireless network into remote communites and therefore, give those communties 5-G service.
According to the statement, this expansion is expected to take about 4 years even with assistance to implement the network infrastructure, technology and operations.
Telus also believes that this expansion will create somewhere around 55 hundred jobs, with most of them being either emerging technologies or construction jobs.
A similar expansion is going to be done by Telus in Alberta as well.
