Yesterday, the Williams Lake First Nation announced that they are beginning construction on their next project, located on the San Jose reserve and known as the Osprey Nest.
This project will see the construction of a multi faceted building that will have a café and gathering space on it’s main floor, four high end concept lofts on it’s 2nd floor, a 2000 square foot restaurant and much more.
The project’s ground-breaking officially began yesterday and the companies carrying out the building’s construction are the Nation’s trusted partners, Lauren Bros Construction and Lake Excavating.
Back when the project was announced in February, the Williams Lake First Nation’s Chief Willie Sellars, said that this project is going to be a game changer for the region and that when it comes to temporary accommodations, nothing will match the Osprey Nest in Williams Lake.
