Terrace City Council has adopted their 2022 Tax Rates Bylaw, locking in the municipal property tax rate for the year.
For residential property owners, that rate comes in at $5.38 per $1,000 of assessed home value.
Most businesses will pay $25.12 per $1,000 of value.
Only a portion of the overall property tax load is municipal, and each municipality is required to establish and submit theirs to the province by May 15th.
