One not-for-profit dental clinic in the north is among 21 province-wide benefiting from fresh provincial funding.
In total, $2.8 million is being provided to the BC Dental Association to help offset costs, and purchase equipment for non-profit clinics.
Each of the clinics receiving funding offer reduced or no cost dental care for low-income residents.
Prince George’s Emergency Dental Outreach Clinic at 1600 Third Avenue, is the only clinic in the north benefiting from the funding.
It runs on a first-come-first-serve basis on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month from 6:00 to 9:00 in the evening.
