Indigenous Services Canada is providing more than $150,000 in funding to help ensure Indigenous people in Canada have discrimination-free access to health care.
That funding will go to the Indigenous Physicians Association of Canada, to support their efforts to eliminate racism from Canada’s health care system.
IPAC helped to plan the National Dialogues on Anti-Indigenous Racism in Canada’s Health Systems, and is continuing to advance that work through discussions with the federal government.
Through the funding, they will be able to continue national level engagement events, and other activities in collaboration with Indigenous Services Canada.
