A Fort St John man has been arrested on several charges relating to a sexual assault incident in Charlie Lake from 2007.
While the incident occurred in 2007, RCMP were not made aware of the allegations until 2019, when they launched an investigation.
Justin Sewel is now facing charges of sexual assault, overcoming resistance to commission and offence, and two counts of voyeurism.
He was arrested before later being released on conditions to appear in court on May 16th.
Police say no further information on the case will be released, as the matter is now before the court.
