Last week, on April 22nd and 23rd, Minister of Municipal Affairs Nathan Cullen met with the Northwest BC Resource Benefits Alliance to discuss the Northwest’s service delivery needs, infrastructure and other challenges.
The alliance is an association of 21 local Northwest BC governments that work together to ensure that Northwest BC develops economically and that their communities are both sustainable and livable.
Cullen got a warm reception from the alliance for his understanding of the fact that a section of the province that desperately needs resources is in the middle of a dilemma.
Cullen also made a commitment to renewing his partnership with the alliance by signing a memorandum of understanding in September at UBCM.
