Prince Rupert School District 52 is slotted to receive just over $1.5 million in funding for 4 projects in the next fiscal year.
Each of the projects are included in the Board of Education’s recently adopted capital bylaw for 2022-23.
That funding will bring HVAC upgrades for both Charles Hays, and Ecole Roosevelt Secondary Schools, and washroom and plumbing upgrades to multiple schools.
Prince Rupert Middle School will receive funding for a project development report into seismic replacement plan.
Funding will also go toward a bus for Inclusive Education, shared among schools in the District.
