New ‘Discover Nisga’a’ Tourism Brand Looks to Set a New Standard for Indigenous Tourism

A new website and brand strategy launched by the Nisga’a Lisims Government today looks to redefine tourism on Nisga’a lands.

Titled Discover Nisga’a, the new strategy is a joint effort with the four Nisga’a Village Governments, the NLG, and their tourism partners.

Through the new site, tourists will be able to virtually discover Nisga’a Lands and the beauty they offer, prior to planning their trip.

Visitors to the site will find showcases on the lava beds, alpine meadows, rainforests, hot springs, and more that coat the landscape of Nisga’a territory.

With the new brand launch, the Nisga’a hope to set a new standard for Indigenous tourism in Northern BC, which already features the highest number of Indigenous-owned tourism businesses in the province.
