Residents of the North Coast got a bit of a relief from Mother Nature’s onslaught, but that is expected to come to an end tonight.
A winter storm watch which had been issued for inland sections of the North Coast has now been upgraded to a warning.
Terrace residents can expect to see up to 20 cm of snow beginning this afternoon, shifting in to freezing rain overnight.
For Stewart, there shouldn’t be any freezing rain, but they are calling for up to 40 cm of snowfall.
Residents of the Nass Valley can expect to see between 20 and 30 cm of snow today and tomorrow.
That means road conditions are likely to once again become slick and slippery, and morning delays should be planned for.
