Fewer health care workers called in sick last week in most Health Authorities, but that was not the case for the North.
Out of 5 Health Authorities reporting data, Northern Health was the only one to see the number of sick calls among health care workers go up.
A total of 1,459 health care workers called in sick for at least one day last week, compared to 1,308 the week before.
Provincewide, 15,258 workers were off for at least a day last week, compared to 17,463 two weeks ago.
Despite being the only Health Authority to see a rise, Northern Health still had the fewest overall sick calls.
Interior Health was in the middle of the pack, with 3,069 call-ins this week, and 3,252 the week before.
