A new housing project looking to help people experiencing homelessness in Prince George now has an operator.
Connective has been selected to operate the new BC Housing development, which will feature 50 supportive housing beds added.
Located at 855 1st Avenue, the plan will see permanent modular housing units installed on land owned by the City.
The new housing will provide shelter for those experiencing homelessness, including those who have been living outdoors in public encampments.
Connective has provided support services to vulnerable and marginalized community members in Prince George for more than 3 years.
Connective says that Indigenous partners will be involved in in the development of programs to ensure culturally appropriate services.
