Prince Rupert RCMP were forced to end their first ever Cram-a-Cruiser event early because, well… the cruiser got crammed.
Officers were set up in front of the Safeway doors alongside their SUV last Tuesday, with the intent of staying until 5:00.
However, crews were forced to leave an hour early after donations filled the vehicle to the brim.
An estimated 3,000 dollars worth of toys and food were donated during the event, and delivered to the Salvation Army later that day.
It was the first year of the event in Prince Rupert, which has become a community mainstay in Terrace.
