Residents of Northern BC are looking at a mixed bag of winter weather warnings today.
Inland sections of the North and Central Coast, including Terrace, Kitimat, Stewart, and Bella Coola are facing an arctic outflow warning, with windchill values in the -20s.
In the Cariboo, including Quesnel and Williams Lake, expected windchill values in the -40s are prompting an extreme cold warning.
Both Williams Lake and Quesnel are also covered by a snowfall warning which stretches through to Prince George and Fort St James.
Snowfall in the Cariboo is expected to hit around 15 cm, though it will be significantly restricting visibility on the roads.
Lower Post is also looking at a snowfall warning, expecting up to 10 cms, and the Peace gets an extreme cold warning with windchill values in the -40s.
