British Columbians braving the outdoors can expect more of the frigid cold temperatures experienced over the last week today.
Arctic outflow and extreme cold warnings are in place on both the North Coast, and the Cariboo.
Both the coastal and inland sections of the North Coast can expect temperatures in the -20s with strong winds due to an arctic outflow warning.
Terrace, Kitimat, Stewart, Bella Coola, and Prince Rupert are all covered under that warning.
In areas of the Cariboo such as Williams Lake, Quesnel, Prince George, and more, windchill values can drop below -40 as they face an extreme cold warning.
Residents are reminded that both humans and pets can experience frost bite in less than 5 minutes in temperatures below -40.
