British Columbia is reporting 500 new cases of Covid-19, as of last night.
That brings the total number of active cases in the province to 4,301, with 124 in ICU.
Of the new cases, 103 are from within Northern Health’s boundaries, while 121 come from the Interior.
Five new deaths have been reported, with one in the North and none in the Interior.
Another outbreak at the Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops brings the province’s active total to 33.
Over the past two weeks, just under 70 percent of hospitalizations come from those who are not yet fully vaccinated.
