Today marks the end of a journey years in the making for the Village of Telkwa.
After years of research and applications, the Village received funding for a new water reservoir in 2018.
Today, the 3.6 million dollar project will officially see its ribbon cut.
Located at Trobak Hill, the new reservoir will help to stabilize water supply and storage on the east side of the Bulkley River.
Construction of the project wrapped up last year, but the ribbon cutting ceremony was delayed due to Covid.
