Developmental projects are hitting Terrace at a break-neck pace, according to August’s building synopsis report.
Just over 58 million dollars in project permits were handed out over August of this year, a ten year high.
On average, that figure has been roughly 24 million in August across the past decade, and the previous high was 2015 at 48 million.
It continues a trend which saw July’s figure of 44 million also shatter averages and nearly equal its 2015 figure.
Multi-Residential and new institutional buildings made up the largest chunk of the permits for both months.
