Terrace`s Director of Development Services has been given a prestigious award in honour of his volunteer work.
David Block received the Professional Award for Volunteer Service from the Local Government Management Association.
Block was among six individuals to receive the award this year, honouring his work on the Association`s Approving Officers Advisory Committee since 2014.
Block has worked for the City of Terrace for more than 17 years, and has held his Director position since 2012.
