A new letter penned by the BC Assembly of First Nations calls for the immediate removal of a PPC Federal candidate.
According to the letter, Renate Siekmann sent out a pamphlet equating the current vaccine mandates with the Residential School tragedy.
Regional Chief Terry Teegee says the Vancouver-Quadra hopeful showed an “Immense depth of ignorance and lack of judgment”.
In the letter, the Assembly calls for Party leader Maxime Bernier to issue an apology and remove Siekmann as their candidate.
Tegee closed by saying “an interruption in your social life during a deadly pandemic is not discrimination.”
