The Vaccine card is not going to required for people living in Terrace and the surrounding area to vote in the federal election on September 20th.
Andrea Marantz, a spokesperson for Elections Canada and B.C, sent out a statement yesterday saying that after a discussion with the Pubic Health Authority, they decided that Vaccine cards will not needed in order to vote.
Advanced voting is going to be available starting tomorrow and it will go until Sept. 13th.
The locations for these advanced polls, along with more information on election day voting locations, will be on your voter information card that has been sent to you via the mail.
Elections Canada has talked with Public Health Canada about COVID-19 protocols and as a result, they have made adjustments to their policies.
