Suzy Kies, the co-chair of the federal Liberal`s Indigenous Peoples` Commission has resigned.
The resignations comes following questions surrounding the legitimacy of her Indigenous ancestry.
On Wednesday, Radio-Canada interviewed Kies regarding a 2019 book-burning event in Ontario.
The event was meant to promote reconciliation by ridding the School Board of inappropriate or outdated literature.
However, following the interview, Radio-Canada announced that they were unable to verify Kies` claims to Abenaki ancestry.
Kies maintains that she is of Abenaki descent via her grandmother, but made the decision to resign to protect party interests.
How can anyone dare plot to burn books. Memories of the movie 451 and 1984 where ‘War is Peace’ . ‘Truth id lie’
Maybe all owners of Tintin’s album should sue her and her Liberal Promoter
Shame on them all.
