Potential Plans for COVID-19 Booster shots to be given to BC residents have been put on hold at minimum until next year.
Earlier this morning, The World Health Organization put out a call that prohibits the use of COVID Vaccine booster shots until January 1st 2022 comes around.
Adrian Dix, BC’s Health Minister, has previously stated that BC is prepared to give out these booster shots if health officials happen to say that are required and/or recommended, but BC has also not announced any kind of plan to give out additional shots to fully vaccinated people.
However, some critics of these booster shots are wondering why more doses of the vaccine are being given to people who are already fully vaccinated when many more people in still developing countries are still looking to get their first dose.
