In an announcement from earlier today, Provincial health officer Doctor Bonnie Henry stated that BC residents will be able to get their proof of vaccination cards online.
Henry did also state that residents would need to provide their personal health numbers, the day they got the vaccine for both doses as well as their date of birth in order to get their card.
Non essential businesses will need to know the vaccination status of residents trying enter or partake in their services starting September 13th for dose number one and on October 24th for dose number two.
Once their status is verified, a digital version of the card can be saved on a cellphone or it can be printed out so it can could be presented with some form of government-issued photo ID when entering businesses or organized events.
