The Interior Health Authority has apparently reversed an order from Monday that banned any and all team sports competition in the entire region.
Kamloops City council got an email yesterday saying that teams are now allowed to compete in sports as long as they follow the IHA gathering and events order. The Email also mentioned that Spectator capacity needs to align with the gathering and events order, including the max of 100 spectators allowed outdoors.
Another thing the email mentioned is that the Health Authority is hoping to have more information put on their website sometime today.
Many different user groups in Kamloops made sure to express that they were not happy with the orders and communication that the health authority was providing them in an online article.
