In order to get the help that they need in finding a stable fibre supply, the man who owns Kandola Forest Products has gone to the Cariboo Regional District for a helping hand.
Neal Kandola, who happens to own the business, is the current operator of the former C&C Wood Products Mill, although he is not in possession of the forest license that comes with buying the business.
Kandola made sure to explain that KFP has a golden opportunity to go even higher in the Forest Products industry thanks to their biggest North American competitor, Greenwood Forest Products, going out of business.
Kandola also stated that his business, which was re-opened back in April of this year, currently has 40 employees and is looking to add at least 100 more workers by the end of next year.
