The BC Wildfire service is doing their best to handle all of the 27 fires still active in the Cariboo Fire Centre.
Some of the fires of note in that area are the Big Stick Lake fire, the Young Lake fire, the Flat Lake fire and the Churn Creek fire.
In the latest update sent out by the Cariboo fire centre, they stated that the Churn Creek fire will no longer be a fire of note on Saturday although they still have not gotten it under control and that the fire danger rating in the area is currently listed as moderate to high with a few patches of low as well.
