Health Canada has announced that the AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine has been approved.
Following the approval of the vaccine Minister of Public Services and Procurement, Anita Anand has announced Canada secured 2 million doses of the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine through an agreement with Verity Pharmaceuticals Canada Inc./Serum Institute of India.
The first 500,000 doses will be delivered to Canada in the coming weeks. The remaining 1.5 million doses are set to arrive by mid-may.
