B.C.’s Minister of Jobs, Economic Recovery and Innovation Ravi Kahlon, released a statement on B.C.’s Labour Force Survey for December.
B.C. added 3,800 jobs, however B.C. is not out of the woods yet as daily Covid-19 cases remain high.
B.C.’s total employment has hit 98.7 per cent of pre-pandemic levels, industries like tourism and hospitality are still struggling.
In the statement Kahlon says B.C. added 24,000 full-time jobs across a variety of sectors and about 20,000 part-time jobs were lost.
