Quesnel RCMP have arrested a man after a month long drug trafficking investigation.
A Quesnel man was arrested in possession of drugs, cash and a fire arm. In November the RCMP Crime Reduction Unit investigated a man that was believed to be operating a drug trafficking network in Quesnel.
On December 9 the Crime Reduction Unit arrested the man after observing him engaged in drug trafficking activities. The police also executed a search warrant on a residence that was associated with the man.
The police seized: 79 grams of cocaine, 22 grams of methamphetamine, 34 grams of heroin/fentanyl, 123 grams of magic mushrooms $6,940 in cash, a 12 gauge shotgun with ammunition as well as taser and body armour.
The man was released from custody and is facing a number of drug and firearm related charges.
